I had a nice experience here, everything was perfect, the location was ideal close to gardens filled with lovely bird songs and Mindo itself and wildlife, hummingbirds, toucans and more. Most of the staff were very amiable and extraordinarily friendly. The breakfast had a wide array of selection, the food was excellent. I enjoyed staying at this hotel, and recommend: D

The facility is located in the middle of cloud forest. Bungalows are comfortable, and way above what one would expect from an eco-friendly facility located in the middle of humid forest. The owner (Ana) runs a very tight ship, which ensures that service is excellent and maintenance as good as you can get in such climate. We found the distance from Mindo - a tiny town that does not justify effort to stay there - an asset. You can get to Mindo in a local car that the lodge arranges for an afternoon to see the local sights and retreat to the comfort of this lodge with its pool, AMAZING treks, good food, well-stocked game room (for rainy days and relaxation), well-stocked bars, goo dwines and pwerhpas the key to it all: the friendly + efficient presence of Ana and her staff. Emphasis: you walk out of your bungalow directly into the foreest for treks rangin from easy to challenging, from an hour to seven hours. we were ther during the rainy season and it was wonderful to walk in the rain in boots provided by the lodge This lodge was the best suprise of our nature-oriented visit to Ecaudor.

The area where it is located is amazing, plenty of birds, butterflies and exuberant nature.They also have 3 trekking paths to do by your own or with a guide. The staff is very helpful. They have a good restaurant and a jacuzzi, both very necessary when you come back tired and you just want to eat well and relax.

The rooms are spacious and come with a comfortable king-sized bed and lovely floral decor.

I loved the private setting of the hotel, and the garden view was especially enjoyable. The individually decorated and spacious room with a couch and dresser was lovely. The breakfast offered a wide range of delicious food and was above average. The location in the rainforest was ideal and amazing, which was definitely a plus.

We had an incredible time at this luxurious hotel in the heart of nature. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the manager's efforts were truly commendable. The location was breathtaking, surrounded by the lush cloud forest, and we couldn't get enough of the stunning views from the swimming pools. Speaking of which, there were options for every preference, from a covered hot pool to a refreshing outdoor pool and a relaxing jacuzzi. We also loved that the hotel was just a few kilometers away from the activities in Mindo, making it convenient for bird watching, canopy tours, and more. The food served at the hotel was delicious and had a homemade taste, truly satisfying our cravings. we can't wait to go back and experience this hidden paradise again.

The walls were a bit thin which made it difficult to have a peaceful sleep in the morning.

Location is key, nestled in a natural setting, it's a great place to unwind and chill.

Allergies can be a problem due to the cloud forest, as we experienced mold on the ceiling of our first room. the rooms are quirky and rustic, making it a bit hard to keep completely dust, free.
